So I browse craigslist a lot for pretty much anything and I was looking in the jobs section when I came across this:
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
I only saw that it involved a sign shop before I saw that they wanted a female employee, weird but okay whatever. Then I saw the picture and thought I remembered seeing something about the employer on facebook or something so I checked the local police logs:

RED FLAGS!!!! I’ve also noticed over time that there have been similarly worded job postings that I’m assuming are him for the last year or so off and on.
What can anyone do to alert possible job seekers or craigslist or whatever? Is it weird that I think something should be done about this?

Well, if it gets taken down, mission accomplished. I suppose you can report it to Craigslist, but I don’t know if they will remove an ad that seems legitimate. You can try and see what happens.

I would have a suspicion that if this guy was arrested/found guilty of those charges he would have some sort of probation going on. Call up the cops and say you saw a creepy ad on craigslist, sounds like this dude you remember being arrested for the above charges and thought someone should know. Maybe your police department even has an online form you can fill out (who knows if it’s checked though).
You’ll probably get a “yeah, sure, we’ll look into it” which may result in nothing. but you’ll feel better about it.

Fair enough, upon further investigation it looks like charges were dropped eventually, but I’d imagine that probably was like so many cases where the victim just wants to get away from it.
